The subject site has been developed as a single-storey commercial plaza comprised of four buildings with a total gross floor area of 4,877 square metres. The buildings have been recently completed and will be occupied by a mix of retail, restaurant and service commercial uses. The proposed Official Plan Amendment would redesignate the easterly portion of the subject lands from Core Employment Areas to General Employment Areas and would introduce a Site and Area Specific Policy (SASP) applicable to the subject site.
