An Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment application has been made for 7 - 17 Nipigon Avenue (the "subject lands"), generally located east of Yonge Street, south of Steeles Avenue East, on the south side of Nipigon Avenue. The subject lands are presently developed with 5 single detached dwellings.The proposal is seeking to permit a 52-storey tall building with a 5-storey base building on the subject lands. The proposal contains 603 dwelling units and 263 square metres of non-residential gross floor area. On September 2, 2025, the Ontario Land Tribunal ("OLT") rendered an Interim Decision approving the proposal. The applicant's are now working through the conditions of approval.
