What’s being built at 4975 Dundas Street West

The application seeks to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law for the lands at 4975 Dundas Street to apply the Commercial Residential (CR) zone and permit a development consisting of a 4-storey base building (19.5 metres in height) and a 44-storey tower (144.7 metres in height, excluding mechanical penthouse), set back 12 metres from the front lot line. The proposed development would comprise 563 dwelling units, 555 square metres of non-residential gross floor area (GFA) at grade, a 130 square metre Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Space (POPS) abutting the main street, and a 5.5 metre-wide pedestrian mid-block connection linking the main street to Islington Junior Middle School.
